Updated 25 October 2026. The production storage inventory and operating procedures need restaurant sign-off before launch.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Local and session storage can also remember information. Essential storage keeps your basket, checkout, account session and security protections working.
Storage used
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie: hutton_spice_session | Connects your browser with its session and basket | 120 minutes of inactivity under the current configuration |
| XSRF-TOKEN, when issued | Protects form and checkout requests | Session configuration |
| ds-privacy-choice-v2 | Remembers your choice to allow or reject optional Google Maps; previous notice acknowledgement is not map permission | 180 days |
| ds-allergy-notice-seen | Remembers dismissal of the general allergy notice in this tab; it contains no allergy answer | Until the tab session ends |
The checkout allergy answer is held in page memory only and is not written to browser storage or the order record by this feature.
Optional analytics and advertising
No optional analytics or advertising integrations are currently configured. Google Maps is optional and is off until you positively allow it. Accept all enables Google Maps, the only optional integration currently offered. Reject optional leaves it off. Settings lets you choose Google Maps separately; essential storage remains active.
Marketing-page fonts and brand images are hosted locally. Ordering pages also use external font and icon libraries.
Managing storage
Use Cookie settings in the footer on any public page to review, change or withdraw your Google Maps choice. We remember your choice on this browser for up to 180 days, then ask again. If your browser blocks preference storage, your choice applies only for the current visit. You can also delete stored data or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential session cookies may stop baskets, sign in or checkout from working.
Other services
Google Maps and restaurant ordering links open separate services. The embedded Google Map on Find Us connects only after you allow Google Maps. Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or browser storage under its own policies. With a valid saved permission, the map loads automatically when you revisit Find Us. Switching Google Maps off removes the embedded map and stops future map loads; it cannot undo information already sent or remove Google cookies. Manage those through your browser. External links still open the separate service when you choose to follow them. See Google’s privacy policy and cookie policy.
